This will lift the tiles on the row above so the damaged tiles can be removed. The tile should come off easily. If the overlapping tiles are not lifting, they may be held down with nails. If so, lift the bottom of the overlapping tiles on the row above so you can pry the nail out of the tile to remove it. Once the tile has been removed, you are now ready to replace it with a new tile. Lift the bottom of the tiles directly above where the new tile is to be placed. Slide the tile back into the empty space. If your tiles are nailed, use a nail to attach the tile to the roof. One all broken or damaged tiles are replaced, take a step back to ensure they are adjusted properly so they will settle back into place.

Preparing a Corrugated Roof for Painting 

For a corrugated roof, you will need to wash it down using a degreaser. If the roof is unpainted or you need to replace some areas, you will need to use a primer. Allow the primer to completely dry before painting.

You will need to purchase specialty paint that is designed for metal roofs. These paints adhere to metal better and can withstand weather extremes. The best way to apply the paint is with a paint sprayer; however, there are also paint rollers designed for corrugated iron.
